Chili Chicken Pizza Recipe By Shireen Anwar

Chili Chicken Pizza

Ingredients For the Dough

  • 8 ounce flour
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1, ½ tsp yeast
  • 2 tbsps. milk powder

For Topping

  • ¼ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 tbsps. cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp. oregano leaves
  • 1 cup cheddar and mozzarella cheese (grated)

For Chili Chicken Topping

  • 1 boneless chicken breast
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. corn flour
  • Oil as required
  • 1 tbsp. pizza sauce

Chili Chicken Pizza  Cooking Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 200 c.

For the Dough

  1. In a clean bowl combine the flour, egg, salt, sugar, yeast, oil and milk powder.
  2. Use Lukewarm water to knead the mixture into a soft dough
  3. When the dough is kneaded and soft, cover it with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and set it aside for 30 minutes to rise
  4. When the dough is well rested, take out a handful and roll into a ball
  5. Then spread dough over a 10” pizza dish at set it aside

For Chili Chicken Topping

  1. Cut the chicken into small cubes
  2. Marinate the chicken with red chili flakes, soya sauce, vinegar, black pepper and salt.
  3. Sprinkle the flour and corn flour on the chicken
  4. In a pan heat some oil and shallow fry the chicken till golden and crispy.
  5. When the chicken is fully cooked, take it out and mix it with the pizza sauce

For Pizza Topping

  1. Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the dough
  2. Add the cheddar cheese, followed by the chili chicken.
  3.  Sprinkle the oregano leaves on top.
  4. Top with the grated cheese
  5. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes and serve.

SERVES: AS DESIRED PREP TIME: 1 HOUR COOK TIME: 50 MINUTES
