Frying Pan Pizza

Ingredients

For dough

  • 1-½ cup Self raising flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Instant yeast
  • 3-4 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Caster sugar
  • Water as required
  • Ingredients for topping
  • 4 tbsp Pizza sauce
  • 2 tbsp sliced Onion
  • ½ cup shredded Chicken tikka
  • 1 diced Tomato
  • 2 tbsp diced Capsicum
  • 3 sliced Mushroom
  • 1 tsp Oregano leaves
  • ½ cup grated Chadder cheese
  • 4 tbsp Oil

Frying Pan Pizza: Cooking Directions:

For Chicken Tikka

  1. Take a bowl, put 2 chicken breast pieces then marinate with ½ tsp ginger/garlic paste, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp roasted cumin powder,2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp yogurt and leave this material for 15 minutes.
  2. Then grill it until chicken completely cooked.
  3. Lastly put a hot coal on the meat and pour oil on it, cover and leave for 10 minutes.

For Pizza:

  1. In a bowl mix together self raising flour, salt, yeast, oil, caster sugar with pouring luke water slowly and squeeze the material until a medium dough is formed.
  2. Leave the dough for 30 minutes.
  3. Now roll the dough into a 9 inch pizza.
  4. Tale a frying pan, heat up 2 tbsp oil in it on low flame, heat the dough on one side for 3 minutes , turn and cook the other side using 2 tbsp oil till it turns light golden in colour.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce on top of the crust.
  6. Top the sauce with sliced onions, shredded chicken tikka, diced tomatoes, diced capsicum and sliced mushrooms.
  7. Sprinkle oregano leaves and grated cheddar cheese on top of the pizza.
  8. Grill for 5 mins till cheese melts.
  9. Now, pizza is ready, cut in wedges and serve hot with sauces and cold drinks.

Frying Pan Pizza is wonderful junk food. Teen agers rush to restaurants e.g. Pizza Hut, Pizza Next, and Dominos etc to enjoy the flavour of pizzas. Such fast food restaurants charge a lot for selling less quality. Meat & other ingredients they are using, can’t say anything about the quality of those. If you cook frying pan pizza at home, you can get healthy & brilliant taste food. One thing more about this sort of pizza, if you don’t have oven at your home, even then, you would be able to prepare.

Tandoori Chicken Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm chicken, boneless
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 100 gm Yogurt
  • Oil as required

For toppings:

  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 6 to 8 Black Olive
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • ¼ tsp Oregano
  • ¼ tsp Rosemary
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • Black pepper as required
  • White pepper as required
  • 1 packet Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 bunch Parsley

Tandoori Chicken Pizza: Cooking Directions

  1. Take a pan, put ginger & garlic paste to fry for 2-3 minutes, then add chicken with all the spices and cook for 8-10 minutes till chicken gets tender.
  2. Now, Knead pizza dough (not too hard or not too soft) and apply tomato puree, oregano and rosemary evenly.
  3. Spread spicy cooked chicken over it and then spread the remaining vegetables.
  4. In the end, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, olive and tomato slices.
  5. Now place it in oven for 10 to 12 minutes. The temperature of the oven should be 180C.
  6. After it is cooked properly, put out of the oven.
  7. Cut it into small pieces.
  8. Serve it hot with ginger garlic sauce or tomato ketchup.

Enjoy this wonderful Tandoori Chicken Pizza. Kids and teen ager prefer to enjoy pizza with chilled cold drinks at their meals instead of taking traditional continental food. So, preparation of pizza at home will be more hygiene and healthy because we can use fresh chicken and other ingredients.

Chicken tikka pizza with capsicum, tomato & olive topping

Ingredients

For Pizza Dough:

  • 200 gram Flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp Instant yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 1-½ tbsp Dry milk powder
  • 1 tsp Caster sugar
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Luke warm water as required

For Pizza Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • ½ tsp Garlic paste
  • ½ cup Tomato paste
  • ½ Red chilli powder
  • ½ Salt
  • ½ Oregano leaves
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup

For Chicken Tikka:

  • 2 breast piece Boneless chicken
  • 3-4 tbsp Tikka Masala
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • ½ tsp Ginger garlic paste

For Topping:

  • 1(cube cut) Onion
  • 1(cube cut) Capsicum
  • 1(without seeds) cube cut Tomato
  • 2-3 tbsp Sweet corn
  • 3-4 tbsp Mushrooms
  • 3-4 tbsp Black olives
  • 1tsp Oregano leaves
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1cup Mozzarella cheese 

Chicken Tikka Pizza: Cooking Directions

For Dough

  1. Take a deep bowl and add flour, salt, instant yeast, egg, dry milk powder, caster sugar, oil  with warm luke water according to the requirement by mixing these all ingredients.
  2. Mix them well to make the dough soft. Then put that on a smooth surface for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add little quantity of flour on the same surface and roll the dough. Dough should be 1/8th inches thick after rolling to get good results for the tasty pizza.
  4. Keep the rolled dough in pizza pan and place this pan in preheated oven for about 7-8 minutes.

For Pizza Sauce

  1. Take a pan, heat up the oil, add garlic paste in it, fry for 2 minutes, further add tomato paste, red chili powder, salt, oregano leaves, ketchup and cook for more 2 minutes.
  2. Now, sauce is ready but you can use it when it is cold.

For Chicken Tikka

  1. Take a bowl, put chicken in it and marinate with Tikka Masala, lemon juice and ginger garlic paste, leave this material for 10-15 minutes, then fry until chicken gets tender.
  2. Put 2-3 coal pieces in a pan and cover for 4-5 minutes to give the touch of tikka flavor to the chicken.

Final Step

  1. Place the prepared rolled out dough in 10 inch pizza plate, spread all ingredients, pizza sauce, 2 tbsp cheddar cheese, chicken tikka pieces, onion, tomato, capsicum, sweet corn, mushrooms, olives, oregano leaves, Cheddar cheese and Mozzarella cheese one by one.
  2. Place this pan in preheated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes. After that, take it back and serve hot.
  3. Delicious, spicy, crispy and tasty pizza is ready. Enjoy this with your family, friends and office colleagues.

Cook time: 30 min

Yield: 3-4 people
