Ingredients
  1. Yogurt (whipped) 1½ cup
  2. Water ¼ cup
  3. Potatoes (boiled)
  4. Onion (chopped) 1
  5. Tomato (chopped) 1
  6. Green Chilies (chopped)2
  7. Curry Leaves 6 to 8
  8. Garlic (chopped) 2 tsp
  9. Mustard Seeds1 tsp
  10. Nigella Seeds1 tsp
  11. Salt ½ tsp
  12. Cumin Seeds ½ tsp
  13. Fennel Seeds (crushed) ½ tsp
  14. Oil ¼ cup
  15. Red Pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. Beat yogurt with water; add boiled potatoes, onion, tomato cubes, seeds removed, coriander leaves, green chilies, keep side.
  2. In a fry pan, heat oil, add rai dana, Kalonji, cumin seeds, curry leaves, crushed red pepper, salt, garlic, fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add to the yogurt mixture, mix well and achari raita is ready to serve.

Ingredients
  1. Bread Slices12
  2. Chicken (boiled,shredded) 1 cup
  3. Potatoes (boiled, mashed) 3
  4. Green Chilies (chopped) 2 tsp
  5. Salt 1 tsp
  6. Red Pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
  7. Chaat Masala ½ tsp
  8. Egg 2 beaten
  9. Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp
Instructions
  1. Remove corners of bread slices, soak bread slices in little water for 5 seconds, and squeeze to remove water. Heat 1 tbsp oil, add shredded chicken , mashed potatoes, all the spices, mix filling well, cut bread into circles, add filling in center cover with another slice, seal well with fork, dip in beaten egg and deep fry.

Special Shami Kabab Shireen Anwar Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ kg Beef
  • 1 Potato, Peeled and cut
  • ½ cup Gram lentils
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red chilies, Grinded
  • 1 tsp Whole all spice
  • 2 tbsp Coriander
  • 2 Green Chilies, chopped
  • 2 Eggs
  • Breadcrumbs As required

Cooking Method

  1. Boil ½ kg beef with 1 peeled and cutted potato, ½ cup of gram lentils, 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of grinded red chilies, 1 tsp of whole all spice with 2 cups of water, till gram lentils are completely cooked and mixture become dry.
  2. Now grind this mixture well
  3. Then add 2 tbsp yogurt, 2 tbsp coriander, 2 chopped green chilies and mix them well.
  4. After that grease your hand and form them in kabab shape.
  5. Dip kabab in egg and cover them with bread crumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them.
  7. Serve shami kabab with chutney.
