Ingredients
  1. Flour 1½ cup
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Baking Powder 1 tsp
  4. Salt ½ tsp
  5. Eggs 2
  6. Evaporated Milk 23 cup
  7. Oil13 cup
  8. Lemon Peel 1 tsp
  9. Ingredients For Lemon Syrup
  10. Granulated Sugar 13 cup
  11. Lemon Juice ¼ cup
Instructions
  1. METHOD FOR LEMON SYRUP
  2. Mix both together in a sauce pan, cook on medium flame stirring constantly for 5 mins until sugar dissolved and slightly thick syrup is formed.
  3. METHOD FOR CAKE
  4. Mix flour sugar baking powder and salt, beat eggs, evaporated milk, oil and lemon peel together in a bowl, pour egg mixture into flour mixture, stir until just combined. Pour into greased and flour loafed pan, bake for 1 hour, remove, poke numerous holes in the hot cake, slowly drizzle with hot lemon syrup, cool on wire rack for 15 mins, remove cake to cool completely.

Chicken Corn Soup Recipe by Chef Zakir

Chicken Corn Soup

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm Chicken boneless (very small cubes)
  • 1 (beaten) Egg
  • 4 tbsp (mixed in a little water) Corn flour
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • ¼ tsp White pepper
  • 3 cups Chicken stock
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 (peeled) Carrot
  • Half (peeled) Onion
  • 2 Spring onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1, ½ cup Sweet corn

Chicken Corn Soup: Cooking Directions

  1. Take a pot, put 3 cups chicken stock and 1 liter water in it.
  2. Now, add small chicken pieces , onion and carrot to it.
  3. Cover with lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Take the vegetable out and dispose of.
  5. Then add ingredients e.g. salt, ¼ white pepper, ¼ black pepper and 1- ½ sweet corn to soup stock.
  6. Now, add all this prepared chicken cubes cooked with all ingredients to corn flour very slowly continuously stirring in one direction.
  7. Let the soup gently boil till it becomes thick.
  8. Last step is to add beaten egg keep stirring and turn off the flame.
  9. Add in spring onion and serve.
  10. Always cook soup on low heat. By doing this, the soup will not only foam less but it will be rich in taste.

Chicken Corn Soup is ready. Put now in soup bowls and enjoy in winter to lesson the intensity of cold. Chicken corn soup is very light meal. People, who want to control their weight along with maintenance of health, can take it with confidence.
