Falooda with strawberry Jelly & cocktail fruits


  • 5 cups milk
  • ½ tin condensed milk
  • Rose syrup as required
  • 1 cup fruit cocktail
  • 1 liter strawberry ice cream
  • Almond and pistachios as required (flaked)
  • 1 tbsp. basil seed (soaked in 1 cup of water)
  • 1 packet strawberry jelly

For Falooda

  • 1, 1/2 cup arrowroot
  • 3 cups water

Falooda Cooking Method

  1. In a bowl mix the milk and condensed milk together
  2. Chill this for 4 hours
  3. In a pan heat water and dissolve the jelly powder
  4. Pour it in a bowl and let it set

For Falooda

  1. In a pan cook water and arrowroot and continue stirring till it is glossy
  2. Pour this mixture in a falooda mold
  3. Place the molds into a deep dish filled with chilled water and ice

To Serves

  1. In a tall glass, pour the rose syrup
  2. Layer with falooda, milk, a scoop of strawberry ice cream , basil seeds and jelly
  3. Garnish with flaked almonds and pistachios

Serves: 4-5

Falooda Ingredients

  • Pakistani Falooda Recipe


    4 tablespoon Tukmaria Seeds

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 packet Rafhan jelly
  • 1 cup tapioca
  • 4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar, ( or depend on your taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Rose Syrup
  • 1 cup Rice Noodle
  • 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1-2 Bananas, Chopped
  • 1-2 Mango (or any other fruit of your choice

Falooda: Step-by-Step Directions

  1. In 1 cup of water, soak 4 tablespoon Tukmaria Seeds for 1/2 hour.
  2. Make 1 packet rafhan jelly (follow instruction beside packet).
  3. For half an hour, soak 1 cup tapioca in 1 1/2 cup water.
  4. Mixed well and leave aside.
  5. Add the tapioca to 4 cups milk and boil in a pan stirring.
  6. When it thickens add sugar in it.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon rose syrup and stir then turn off heat and leave it to cool completely for half an hour.
  8. You will also need 1 cup rice noodles
  9. Add the rice noodle to boiling water and keep stirring for 5 minute or until they cooked.
  10. Drain the noodles and run under cold water then leave on the colander to drain completely.
  11. For Layering: First get a glass and at the bottom add 3 tablespoon tukmaria and rose syrup mix then some rice noodles
  12. Add in the tapioca & milk mix and leave in the fridge to chill for an hour.
  13. Before serving add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and chopped bananas, mango (or any other fruit you prefer) and the jelly cubes
